Thanks -- to those who visited
lovely Door County once, and those who were guests here many times and
came to think of White Pines as a home away from home. Thanks to
all the honeymoon couples who enjoyed a relaxing week after a hectic
wedding -- I'll sure never forget the 65-pound beaded wedding gown! to all the wonderful guests who stayed here. ~ Thanks to the people who enjoyed nice long vacations, sipping wine or enjoying breakfast on the big front porch, and to all who felt such joy to escape for even a weekend. Thanks to the crazy fall folks who came on festival weekends and about wore themselves out! Thanks to the winter guests who sometimes grabbed a snow shovel and pitched right in, or who rented snowshoes to try for the first time. Thank you to ALL who made breakfast in the mornings the most delightful times of all. I know many people will miss wildlife watching out the dining room window here of a morning, the peaceful strolls around the historic district -- and I sure have missed the laughter, the giggles of the girls' and mother-daughter- gramma-and great gramma getaways, and the amazingly interesting professions and stories of 8 years of super guests! You
have been missed, but you will always be remembered.
